Stromberg Carlson 1543 - Black brown This is a combo packStromberg Carlson followed up on the 1443 (basically an evolved 1243) with the last of their own designs, the 1543. This was SC's answer to the famous Western Electric 500. In fact, the 1543 is often referred to as the "cut corner" 500. Soon after this model was introduced, Stromberg Carlson followed the lead of Kellogg and started producing model 500's under license. This original black 1543 had been buffed back up to its original luster and shine.
